Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy, also called talk therapy, therapy, or counseling, is a process focused on helping patients heal and learn more constructive ways to deal with the problems or issues within their life. It can also be a supportive process when going through a difficult period or under increased stress, such as starting a new career or going through a divorce.

Generally psychotherapy is recommended whenever a person is grappling with a life, relationship or work issue or a specific mental health concern, and these issues are causing the individual a great deal of pain or upset for longer than a few days. There are exceptions to this general rule, but for the most part, there is no harm in going into therapy even if you’re not entirely certain you would benefit from it.

COVID-19 Information

LifeQuest providers are making every effort to avail themselves to our active clients and new clients seeking help during these trying times. We are promoting tele-therapy as the primary option to protect our clients, clinicians, and office staff. However, if you require face to face services this may be accommodated on a case by case basis at the discretion of your provider.

If you see your therapists in the LifeQuest office, be advised LifeQuest is taking the requisite steps to prevent the spread of the virus such as active handwashing and wiping down hard surfaces often.

Please call our offices in Las Vegas, Reno, and Elko during open hours and one of our staff members will make every effort to accommodate new clients and active client’s needs.
